The algorithm of this SCAN is same as our MACD Divergence indicator.
This Advanced scanner is specially made for experienced traders.
For example, you can search MACD Divergence signals in a short range, such as 15 bars(applicable to any time period).
You can also search in a long range, such as 60 or 100 bars. Furthermore, you can specify the percentage of price change between 2 Highs and the percentage of MACD value change which are used to find the Divergence.
It makes possible to scan on very complex conditions.
Example 1, scan Negative (bearish) MACD Divergence if current High is the peak within 15 bars, and it’s 5% greater than the peak from 25 bars ago. At the same time, the current MACD value is 8% less than the MACD value of that peak from 25 bars ago.
Example 2, scan Positive (bullish) MACD Divergence if current Low is the trough within 5 bars, and it’s 3% less than the trough from 15 bars ago. At the same time, the current MACD value is 10% greater than the MACD value of that trough from 15 bars ago.
Features:
- You can change all MACD (Relative Strength Index) parameters:
- length: The number of bars used to calculate the MACD.
- price: The price used to calculate the MACD.
- average type: The type of moving average to be used in calculations: simple, exponential, weighted, Wilder’s, or Hull.
- Length 1&2: Define the range of bars which are used to calculate the recent High and previous High, as shown in picture.
- Percent: The difference between High1 and High2, as shown in picture.
- MACD_Percent: The difference between MACD1 and MACD2, as shown in picture.
- Scan in many time frames, 5mins, 15mins, 30mins, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month.
- Applicable for all securities(Stocks, Futures, Forex, Options,ETF, etc.).

Regular price: $99.

How can I buy macd divergence indicator for $29 ?
And on Wich trading platform I can use this indicator?
Thank you
Hi,
I am interested in buying one of your indicators just to see how it works before buying additional ones. How much is it for one?
Also, you seem to have three indicators in the so-called “all-in-one package for Thinkorswim.” Are these three indicators, say the MACD, different and how do they work?
Plesae check the product page for more detailed info for each indicator.
Hi,
I’ve been trading for 40 years. On the floor for 20 of them.
I have found that divergences have been the most consistently powerful, reliable, and explosive patterns , in all markets, of anything I have come across.
I know that many people like to have various indicators tracking the price to confirm the divergence but I have found that just looking at pure price works the best.
For example…Price makes the lowest low of a continued down trend, then rallies from it.
When it comes back down, and breaks those lows, you buy on an immediate break back above the original low ( reverse for tops).
It also works equally as well in all time frames.
Unfortunately, because I am not a programmer, I am in the position to have to locate these by sight, and have no way to mechanically screen for them.
I wanted to know if you either already have something written that can screen, and alert for the conditions which show a potential divergence in the making, or could write something for that?
Even if you have something that is not 100% exactly what I’m referring to, but similar, it would at least do an enormous amount of screening for me, to provide candidates that I can visually confirm for the rest…
It seems like your MACD divergence scanner might just do that job.
Is it possible to try just 1 scanner to see if it is what I need, then I can purchase more?
Thank you,
David
